Our Mission
To encourage and foster economic growth that will result in a downtown that is a vital, energetic and an attractive center of the community.
Our Organization
In 2006, the Downtown Association of Fairbanks recognized it’s growth beyond just a business association focusing on revitalization and formed the Downtown Association of Fairbanks Community Services, Inc, a fully owned subsidiary 501 (c) 3 charitable organization that focuses on lessening the burden of government and increasing the quality of life for all Fairbanksans through our Community Service programs, including our Solstice Festivals and Community Service Patrol program, the partnership program aimed to aid in the providing a safe and welcoming downtown for all.
Our Focus
To promote, preserve and revitalize Downtown Fairbanks. In 2009, the Downtown Association is committed to continuing our mission through the ratification of a comprehensive, achievable community plan for the revitalization and future growth of Downtown Fairbanks.
